Importing & Exporting Your Collection

Bring your collection into Mana Grove from ManaBox, Moxfield, Archidekt, Deckbox, Delver Lens, TCGplayer, or a CSV, and export it back out any time.

How our guides are made.

Your cards are yours. Mana Grove imports from the tools you already use and exports your collection back out whenever you want it.

Supported import sources

Open Collect → My Collection and click Import. You can pick a source, or leave it on auto-detect and let Mana Grove recognize the file:

  • Mana Grove (our native format, best for backups and round-trips)
  • ManaBox, Moxfield, Archidekt, Deckbox, Delver Lens, TCGplayer
  • Generic CSV for everything else

Each source tile shows a short "how to export" hint for that app. For a generic CSV, a name column is required; quantity, set code, collector number, condition, foil/finish (including etched), language, box, notes, and acquired date are all recognized when present.

How an import runs

  1. Choose your source (or auto-detect) and upload the export file.
  2. Pick a target: Import to Collection or Import as Deck. Deck imports currently show a full preview; committing an import as a deck is not yet available, so to save the cards, import to your collection.
  3. Review the preview. Nothing is saved at this step: you see every row, how it resolved, and any per-row errors (a typo in one card name never blocks the rest).
  4. Commit the import.

Add vs. Delta: how duplicates are handled

  • Add merges the import into what you already own: quantities increase, and rows matching cards already in your collection stack onto them instead of creating duplicates.
  • Delta (add / remove) applies a signed change per row: positive quantities add copies, negative quantities remove them, and rows that hit zero are deleted. This is the mode for syncing a changed export from another tool.

Can I export my collection?

Yes, any time and on every plan: as a Mana Grove file (lossless, best for backups), CSV, JSON or plain text.

  1. Open Collect → My Collection and click Export.
  2. Pick a format: Mana Grove (native and lossless, the best choice for backups or re-importing later), CSV, JSON, or plain text.
  3. A live preview shows exactly what the file will contain, with a total-card count. Download when it looks right.

Collection export vs. account data export

The Export button above covers your collection file. A broader account data export (collection, decks, and activity in one bundle) lives in Settings → Data & export; see Your Privacy & Your Data for how that works.
