Your Privacy & Your Data

Export a full copy of your Mana Grove data, delete your account, tune your privacy and notification preferences, and know your rights.

How our guides are made.

Your data belongs to you. Mana Grove ships self-serve tools for both sides of that: taking a complete copy of your data, and deleting your account outright. The legal detail lives in the Privacy Policy; this article is the practical how-to.

Export a copy of your data

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
  2. Open Data & export.
  3. Tick what to include: your collection, your decks, and your activity.
  4. Click Request export. Exports are limited to one per day, and one runs at a time.
  5. Your request appears under Recent exports with its status. When it completes, a Download export link appears. Download promptly: export files expire, and the expiry date is shown beside each one.

Only need your collection as a file (CSV, JSON, or plain text)? The collection's own Export button is quicker: see Importing & Exporting Your Collection.

Delete your account

  1. Open Settings → Delete account.
  2. Tick the confirmation box and click Request account deletion.
  3. Deletion runs after a 30-day grace period. The section shows your request's status, the scheduled date, and the days remaining.
  4. Changed your mind? Click Cancel deletion request at any point during the grace period and nothing is lost.
  5. Once the grace period ends, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

If you want a copy of your data, run the export before requesting deletion.

Privacy and notification preferences

  • Settings → Privacy controls what others can see and how you can be reached: whether your collection is public, whether activity shows on your profile, your online status, whether new decks default to public, who can send you direct messages (everyone, people you follow, or no one), and your consent choices.
  • Settings → Notifications controls which emails you receive, including product updates.

Your rights

This section is a plain-language summary, not legal advice. The Privacy Policy is the authoritative statement of how Mana Grove handles your data.

Depending on where you live (including Canada under PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25, and the EU/EEA under the GDPR), you generally have rights to access your data, correct it, receive a portable copy, and have it deleted. The export and deletion tools above are the fastest way to exercise access, portability, and erasure yourself. For anything the self-serve tools do not cover, or to exercise any other right, email privacy@themanagrove.com from your account email address.
