32 Commander-legal instants that untap creatures are on this list: instants of any color that untap all your creatures, and white instants that untap one or more. The most-played are Dramatic Reversal, Great Train Heist and Savage Beating (card data dated November 1, 2026).
Untap your creatures at instant speed to block after attacking, or to tap them again. Here are 32 Commander-legal instants that do it, most-played first.
These instants untap creatures after they have attacked or been tapped for an ability, so the same creatures can block on an opponent's turn or tap again. Vitalize, To Arms!, Rally of Wings and Call to Glory untap every creature you control; Djeru's Resolve, Act of Heroism and Gerrard's Command untap one target creature, often with a bonus.
Go-wide decks attack with everything and untap to defend, which works like vigilance for a turn. Some do more: Great Train Heist and Savage Beating, cast during combat on your turn, untap your creatures and add another combat phase, Dramatic Reversal untaps every nonland permanent you control, mana rocks included, and Reins of Power swaps creatures with an opponent until end of turn.
Rules note: untapping an attacking creature doesn't remove it from combat or let it attack again in that combat; it can block later, and it can attack once more only in an additional combat phase, since only untapped creatures can be declared as attackers.
On this list, the most-played white instants that untap creatures: To Arms!, Rally of Wings, Rustler Rampage, Djeru's Resolve and Call to Glory.

Attacking taps a creature unless it has vigilance (rule 702.20b), and only untapped creatures can block (rule 509.1a). An untap after your attack lets the same creatures defend on your opponents' turns, and one before combat on an opponent's turn readies tapped creatures to block.
Yes. Untapping turns a permanent back upright (rule 701.26b), so a creature can pay a {T} cost again the same turn, as long as you have controlled it since your most recent turn began or it has haste (rules 302.6 and 702.10c).
Only in an additional combat phase. A creature can be declared as an attacker only if it is untapped (rule 508.1a), and Great Train Heist and Savage Beating, cast during combat on your turn, add a combat phase after the current one (rule 500.8), so an untapped creature can attack in it.
Vigilance keeps a creature from tapping when it attacks (rule 702.20b), every turn. An untap instant lets it tap first and untap later, so it can also tap for an ability, and the whole team gets the effect from one card, but only for that turn.
