Billing, Receipts & Refunds

When Mana Grove charges you, where to find receipts, what happens after a failed payment, and how refunds work.

How our guides are made.

A practical guide to how Mana Grove billing works.

When charges occur

  • Monthly plans are charged on the day you subscribed, every month.
  • Annual plans are charged once a year on the day you subscribed. Annual billing is 12 months for the price of 10.
  • Upgrades are charged right away, prorated for the remainder of the billing period you are in.
  • Downgrades and cancellations never create a new charge; they take effect at your next billing date.

Prices are shown in your local currency where we offer one: CAD, EUR, GBP or USD. Canadian and US prices are plus applicable taxes; euro and pound prices include VAT.

Finding your receipts and invoices

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
  2. Open Plan & billing and click Manage billing.
  3. The billing portal lists every invoice and receipt, and it is also where you update payment methods.

Failed payments and the grace period

If a renewal payment fails, your paid plan stays active during a short grace period (currently 3 days) while the payment is retried. A banner in Settings → Plan & billing will tell you what is happening.

  1. Open Settings → Plan & billing → Manage billing.
  2. Update or replace your payment method.
  3. Once the payment goes through, your plan continues as normal.

If the payment still cannot be collected after the grace period, your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted, and you can resubscribe whenever you like.

Refunds

  • Annual plans: if you cancel within 14 days of purchase, you receive a prorated refund. After 14 days the year is non-refundable, but it stays active until it ends.
  • Monthly plans: cancelling stops the next charge, and your paid features run to the end of the month you already paid for. Partial months are not refunded.

The same refund rules are shown in the Pricing page FAQ and in Settings → Plan & billing, and our Terms of Service govern every subscription. If you believe a charge is wrong (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after cancellation), contact us before disputing it with your bank: it is almost always faster.
