An enchantment tutor searches your library for an enchantment card, from Auras to Sagas. 35 Commander-legal enchantment tutors, most-played first.
Ranked most-played first, the best enchantment tutors in Commander are Enlightened Tutor, Open the Armory, Idyllic Tutor, Sterling Grove and Moon-Blessed Cleric. Every card on this list is legal in Commander as of the card data dated November 1, 2026.
An enchantment tutor is a card that searches your library for an enchantment card. Idyllic Tutor, Sterling Grove and Moon-Blessed Cleric find any enchantment, Enlightened Tutor an artifact or an enchantment, and Heliod's Pilgrim and Three Dreams find Auras. Enchantress, Aura and Saga decks play them to find the one enchantment their plan is built on.
They differ in where the card lands. Idyllic Tutor puts it into your hand, Sterling Grove and Moon-Blessed Cleric put it on top of your library, and Academy Rector, Zur the Enchanter and Enduring Ideal put it straight onto the battlefield. Some find only one enchantment type: Auras (Heliod's Pilgrim, Three Dreams), Curses (Bitterheart Witch) or Shrines (Sanctum of All).
Rules note: an Aura that a tutor puts onto the battlefield is not cast, so it doesn't target. Unless the tutor says what it enchants, you choose as it enters, and if nothing can legally be enchanted, the Aura stays where it was.

Commander-legal cards whose rules text searches your library for an enchantment card, or a card of an enchantment type such as Aura, Curse, Saga or Shrine, alone or in a list with other types (an artifact or enchantment card). The card can go to your hand, the battlefield or the top of your library. Tutors for any card or any permanent card, which can also find an enchantment, are not listed, and neither are searches of an opponent's library. One entry per card, most-played first.

A card that searches your library for an enchantment card. Searching means looking at every card in the zone and finding one that matches the description (rule 701.23a). An enchantment tutor's description names the card type enchantment, or one of the enchantment types of rule 205.3h, such as Aura, Curse, Saga or Shrine.
Yes. Aura is an enchantment type (rule 205.3h), so any card that finds an enchantment card can find an Aura that meets the tutor's other conditions, and Heliod's Pilgrim and Three Dreams find only Auras. An Aura put onto the battlefield by a tutor isn't cast, so it doesn't target (rule 303.4a: an Aura spell is what requires a target), and unless the tutor says what it enchants, you choose as it enters (rule 303.4f).
Yes, and an artifact tutor too: it searches your library for an artifact or enchantment card, reveals it, then puts it on top of your library after the shuffle, so it is the next card you draw unless something moves it first. Drawing a card puts the top card of your library into your hand (rule 121.1).
Academy Rector, Zur the Enchanter, Lost Auramancers and Enduring Ideal put an enchantment card onto the battlefield, Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice and Sovereigns of Lost Alara an Aura, Sanctum of All a Shrine and Bitterheart Witch a Curse, attached to the target player. When the card is an Aura and the effect doesn't say what it enchants, you choose as it enters (rule 303.4f).
