92 Commander-legal cards untap artifacts. The most-played are Seedborn Muse; Unwinding Clock; and Minamo, School at Water's Edge (card data dated November 1, 2026).
Untap an artifact and you can use it again the same turn: a mana rock makes mana twice. 92 Commander-legal cards do it, most-played first.
Ranked most-played first, the best cards that untap artifacts in Commander are Seedborn Muse; Unwinding Clock; Minamo, School at Water's Edge; Dramatic Reversal; and Manifold Key. Every card on this list is legal in Commander as of the card data dated November 1, 2026.
Cards that untap artifacts turn a tapped artifact back upright, so you can tap it again the same turn for mana or for its ability. Voltaic Key, Manifold Key and Clock of Omens untap one artifact at a time, while Unwinding Clock and Seedborn Muse untap your artifacts during every other player's untap step. Untap a mana rock and it makes its mana again.
They differ in what they reach and what they cost. The keys pay mana and tap themselves, Clock of Omens taps two untapped artifacts you control, and creatures such as Kiora's Follower and Vizier of Tumbling Sands untap another permanent of any type, artifacts included. Dramatic Reversal and Unstoppable Plan untap every nonland permanent you control at once, and when the artifact you untap makes more mana than the untap costs, you come out ahead.
Rules note: only a tapped permanent can be untapped, and untapping an artifact creature does not let it attack or use its own tap abilities sooner: summoning sickness still applies until you have controlled it continuously since your most recent turn began, unless it has haste.

Commander-legal cards whose rules text untaps one or more artifacts, or permanents of any type, which include artifacts: by target (untap target artifact, untap another target permanent, tap or untap target permanent) or as a group (untap all artifacts you control, untap all nonland permanents you control). Cards whose untap names only creatures or lands and never artifacts (untap target creature, untap all lands you control), or that untap only themselves, only a permanent named earlier in their text, only a permanent an opponent controls, or a permanent they gain control of, or one that phases the permanent out, are not listed; an untap of artifact creatures counts. One entry per card, most-played first.

Untapping a permanent turns it back upright, so it can be tapped again for mana or for a tap ability. Rule 701.26b: "To untap a permanent, rotate it back to the upright position from a sideways position. Only tapped permanents can be untapped." Your permanents untap during your untap step (rule 502.3); the cards on this list untap artifacts at other times too.
Yes, if it enters untapped and is not a creature. The summoning sickness rule (rule 302.6) applies only to creatures: a creature can't attack, or activate an ability with the tap or untap symbol in its cost, until you have controlled it continuously since your most recent turn began, unless it has haste (rules 702.10b and 702.10c). So an artifact creature that taps for mana can't do so the turn it enters without haste, and untapping it doesn't change that. A rock that enters tapped can't tap for mana until something untaps it, which is what the cards on this list do.
Yes. Tapping a mana rock for mana is a mana ability (rule 605.1a), and once the rock is untapped you can activate that ability again, so every untap is one more activation. Mana abilities don't use the stack and can't be responded to (rule 605.3b), but an untap ability such as Voltaic Key's targets, so it is not a mana ability (rule 605.1a) and can be responded to. When the untap costs less than the rock makes, as with Voltaic Key's {1} on a rock that makes two or more mana, each untap leaves you ahead.
Unwinding Clock untaps all artifacts you control during each other player's untap step, and Seedborn Muse does the same for all your permanents, so your artifacts are ready on every opponent's turn (rule 502.3 is the untap step). Dramatic Reversal and Unstoppable Plan untap all nonland permanents you control, which skips artifact lands, since an artifact land is also a land (rule 300.2). Blinkmoth Infusion untaps every artifact on the battlefield, yours and your opponents'.
